A small-batch, limited-edition release of 2,000 bottles, our 6-Year-Old Blue Corn Whiskey celebrates Mexican heritage with natural, non-GMO, native blue corn from Mexico.
Blue corn has been harvested for thousands of years in Mexico. It contains approximately 20% more protein than yellow or white corn. The vivid color Deep blue is the result of its rich anthocyanin content, an antioxidant commonly found in blueberries.
DESCRIPTION : 87.5% blue corn, 12.0% rye and 0.5% malted barley .
ALC. VOL. : 40%
AGING : 6 years in new American oak barrels.
TASTING NOTES: Light oak, crisp apple, pear, hints of vanilla and dried chilies, with a delicate peat finish.
